BIKING GEAR HELMETS
Helmets Absorb the Impact of Falls
A bike helmet is essential safety gear that most bike clubs, shops and parents support. Currently Florida does not require bicycle riders to wear a bike helmet, but it is mandatory for bike riders under the age of 16 to wear a biking helmet. A helmet is a relatively small investment for protecting your head, so it makes sense to just do it!
Most of the modern bicycle headgear that we have is padded with chin straps that secure your helmet to your head in case of a bumpy ride or unexpected crash. Most of the biking helmets have ventilation holes for increased airflow. And they do not last forever, so if your helmet is more than five years old, many manufacturers recommend replacing it. If you’ve noticed any cracks or you’ve had a major crash, it’s also a good idea to get a new helmet for your protection.

We recommend the following biking helmet brands for adults and children. And, the helmets we carry have Consumer Product Safety Commission(CPSD) or Snell certifications.
